A viscous fluid flows over a flat plate at zero angle of attack            

Assertion (A): The thickness of boundary layer is an ever increasing one as it’s distance from the leading edge of the plate increases

Reason (R): In practice, 99 percent of the depth of the boundary layer is attained within a short distance from the leading edge.
