A planetary gear train has four gears and one carrier. Angular velocities of the gears are ω1, ω2, ω3, and ω4 respectively. The carrier rotates with angular velocity ω5.

  1. What is the relation between the angular velocities of Gear 1 and Gear 4?

a)$\frac{_{\omega 1-\omega 5}}{_{\omega 4-\omega 5}}=6$

b)$\frac{_{\omega 4-\omega 6}}{\omega 1-\omega 5}=6$

c)$\frac{_{\omega 1-\omega 2}}{\omega 4-\omega 5}=-\left ( \frac{2}{3} \right )$

d)$\frac{_{\omega 2-\omega 5}}{\omega 4-\omega 5}=-\left ( \frac{8}{9} \right )$
