A single cylinder engine and a four cylinder in line four stroke engine (both horizontal) are running at speed of 1500 rpm, Crank radius and connecting rod for both are 100 and 500 mm respectively. Reciprocating parts for the single cylinder engine weigh 160 N and for each of the four cylinders of the four cylinder engine weigh 40 N. Revolving masses for both single and four cylinder engines work out to 160 N with a net eccentricity of 0.1 mm. Compute the following for both the engines:    

(i)      Magnitude, frequency and direction of the predominant unbalanced force due to the reciprocating parts. .       

(ii)     Magnitude, frequency and direction of the unbalanced force due to the revolving parts.
