The ratio of torque carrying capacity of a solid shaft to that of a hollow shaft is given by

Di = Inside diameter of hollow shaft

D0 = Outside diameter of hollow shaft .  

Shaft materials are the same.

K = $\frac{D_{i}}{D_{0}}$
