A punch press is fitted with a flywheel capable of furnishing 300 kgf-metre of energy during quarter of a revolution near the bottom dead centre while blanking a hole on sheet metal. The maximum speed of the flywheel during the operation is 200 r.p.m. and the speed decreases by 10% during the cutting stroke. The mean radius of the rim is 100mm. Calculate the approximate weight of the flywheel assuming that it contributes 90% of the energy requirements.
