The velocity distribution in the fully developed flow region of steady incompressible laminar flow of a fluid in a horizontal pipe is given by $\frac{u}{u_{m}}=1-\left ( r/R \right )^{2}$ where u and um are respectively the velocities of any radial distance, r, from the axis and at the axis of the pipe and R is the radius. Show that the kinetic energy correction factor, a and momentum correction factor, b are respectively equal to 2 and 1.33.
