A mass m1 of a liquid at temperature T1 is mixed with a mass m2 of the same liquid at temperature T2. If the specific heat Cp of the liquid is constant and the system is thermally insulated, show that the change in the entropy of the universe is

 

 

 

 

Prove that this change is necessarily positive.
